Cash & Bank Balances

Where your members’ money lives — simple, clear, and easy to manage.

Before your economy can grow, you need a stable place for your members’ currency. Mochi uses two balance types — Cash and Bank — to create a system that feels both fun and secure. Understanding how they work is the first step to building a healthy economy. 🌸

What Are Cash & Bank Balances?

Mochi separates currency into two categories:

1

Cash (Wallet Balance)

This is the money members carry with them. Cash is used for:

  • Buying items

  • Playing games

  • Sending coins to others

  • Pick drops and rewards

Cash is fast, flexible, and always at risk in steal-based commands.

2

Bank (Savings Balance)

This is your members’ safe storage. Bank currency is protected from attempts using the /steal command

Bank balances represent long-term progress and help members feel secure even if they spend too quickly.

Why Two Balances?

Two separate systems make your economy feel alive:

  • Risk vs. Security — Players choose what to carry and what to save

  • Long-term progression — Bank balances grow over time

  • Meaningful decisions — Withdraw now or save for later?

  • Healthy economy flow — Not all coins circulate at once

Mochi’s split currency balance design creates strategy without complexity — perfect for communities of any size.

What You Can Configure

Mochi gives you full control over how these balances work:

  • /cash start

  • /bank start

📈 Maximum Balances

Every thriving economy starts with a simple idea: Where does the money live?

Cash & Bank balances create:

  • A sense of progress

  • Meaningful decisions

  • Fairness between new and old members

  • A structured foundation for games, stores, and events

Once these basics are set, your entire Marketplace becomes smoother and more engaging — because everything connects back to these two balances.
