Steal Command

A bold move, a risky play — and sometimes, a big win.

The /steal command lets members attempt to take a portion of another member’s cash balance. It’s a high-tension, high-drama currency game where timing, confidence, and risk all matter.

Will you play it safe — or take the chance?

How Stealing Works

Stealing isn’t random chaos — it has rules.

To attempt a steal:

  • The thief must have at least 40% of the target’s cash balance

  • The command targets wallet (cash) only — not bank savings

This requirement prevents extreme imbalance and protects new or low-balance members from being farmed.

If the conditions are met, Mochi processes the attempt and decides the outcome.

Using the Steal Command

To attempt a steal, simply type:

/steal @member

Mochi will:

  • Check eligibility

  • Process the attempt

  • Return a success or failure message

Success & Failure Outcomes

If the Steal Succeeds

  • A portion of the target’s cash is transferred

  • You receive a confirmation message showing the result

If the Steal Fails

  • No currency is transferred

  • Mochi lets you know the attempt was unsuccessful

Failures are part of the game — risk is what makes stealing exciting.

Configuring the Steal Command

You can fully control how and where stealing is allowed using the Commands Dashboard.

Available Settings

Allowed Roles Choose which roles are allowed to use /steal.

Allowed Channels Restrict stealing to specific channels (recommended).

Ignored Roles Roles that can use /steal anywhere, even if the channel is restricted.

Ignored Channels Channels where /steal will never work.

These controls let you keep stealing fun — not disruptive.

Best Practices

To keep stealing playful instead of frustrating:

  • Limit it to game or economy channels

  • Avoid allowing it in support or announcement channels

  • Pair it with bank deposits to give players protection

  • Use cooldowns and balance limits wisely

A little structure keeps the chaos enjoyable.

Disabling the Steal Command

If stealing doesn’t fit your server’s vibe, you can disable it at any time.

To disable /steal:

  1. Open the Mochi Commands Dashboard

  2. Find the Steal command

  3. Toggle it Off

No commands required — changes apply instantly.

Why Steal Exists

The Steal command:

  • Keeps currency moving

  • Creates tension and stories

  • Encourages strategic saving

  • Adds playful rivalry

It’s optional — but when tuned well, it adds personality and energy to your economy.
