Set Your Server’s Time Zone

Keep alerts and automations running right on time!

Mochi is designed to move in sync with your community, and that starts with setting the correct time zone.

This makes sure reminders, economy events, and scheduled posts happen exactly when they should (and not at 3 AM by surprise! 😴).

Permissions Check

Before you begin, make sure Mochi has permission to update your server settings. She’ll need either:

• Administrator access, or

• A role with Moderation permissions assigned in Mochi’s dashboard

💡 Tip: If you’re unsure, check under Server Settings → Integrations → Mochi to see which role she’s using.

How to Set Your Time Zone

You’ve got two easy ways to configure it:

Use the Slash Command

1. In any channel where Mochi is active, type /timezone.

2. Enter your time zone (for example, Asia/Tokyo).

3. Mochi will confirm once it’s set — no guesswork required!

Use the Dashboard

Prefer a visual approach?

1. Go to www.mochi.bot and click Login with Discord.

2. Select your server.

3. Head to the Server Settings tab.

4. Choose your time zone from the dropdown menu.

5. Click Save Changes — done! ✅

Once your time zone is locked in, Mochi will handle everything on schedule — events, reminders, economy resets, and more.
