Keep today’s question easy to find.

Pinned QOTDs make sure the current question stays visible at the top of the channel, even as people reply throughout the day.

Enable Pinned QOTDs

To enable pinned QOTDs, type the command and set the option to “true”:

/qotd set pins

Disable Pinned QOTDs

To disable pinned QOTDs, type the command and set the option to “false”.

/qotd set pins

When Pinning Works Best

  • Busy servers with lots of messages

  • Channels where replies scroll quickly

  • Communities that want the question visible all day

When You Might Skip Pinning

  • Small, slow-moving servers

  • Channels that are QOTD-only

  • Servers using threads for replies
