Warning a Member

Clear guidance without escalation.

Warnings are Mochi’s way of helping moderators address issues early and calmly, before they turn into bigger problems. They’re meant to guide behavior — not punish it — and they create a clear, logged record that helps your moderation team stay consistent.

Warnings are ideal for:

  • First-time issues

  • Minor rule breaks

  • Repeated small disruptions

  • Situations that need a reminder, not removal

Every warning is tracked, so moderators always have context.

This keeps things transparent and professional.

🧹 Clearing Warnings for a Member

🌱 Why Warnings Matter

When used well, warnings:

  • Create consistency across moderators

  • Build trust through clear expectations

  • Provide context for future decisions

Warnings aren’t about control — they’re about communication. Clear signals early lead to healthier communities later.
