Sticky Notes

Keep important messages visible — always.

Sticky Notes help you pin essential information at the bottom of any channel, automatically. Whether it’s a friendly welcome, a self-intro template, or community rules, Mochi makes sure your message always stays visible, no clutter, no re-posting.

What Sticky Notes Do

Sticky Notes act like auto-refreshing pins. When someone posts in the channel, Mochi quietly removes the old sticky note and re-posts it right below the new message, keeping it at the bottom, always in sight.

They’re perfect for:

  • 💬 Intro channels (self-intro templates)

  • 📝 Rules or guidelines

  • 📅 Event or announcement info

  • 💡 Ongoing prompts or reminders

How It Works

1

Use the slash command

Type /sticky-messages add

2

Add your message

Under the Content field, enter your short text message or select a pre-made embed from your templates.

3

Save your Sticky note

Click Enter — done!

That’s it! Now, whenever someone sends a new message in that channel, Mochi will:

  • Delete the old sticky note

  • Re-post it automatically below the newest message

Simple. Clean. And it just works. ✨

Additional Sticky Commands

Mochi gives you simple tools to manage your sticky notes anytime.

Example

You can create a Sticky Note for your introductions channel:

“Hey there! 👋 Please introduce yourself using this format: Name: Interests: Favorite emoji: 💫”

Each time a new member joins and types, Mochi keeps this message visible at the bottom — making sure nobody misses it.

Why It Matters

Sticky Notes keep your channels tidy, clear, and welcoming by:

  • Guiding new members

  • Keeping essential info where people can see it

  • Reducing spam and repeated announcements

  • Helping channels stay organized without extra moderation

Set it once — Mochi handles the rest. ✨
